Jennifer works in waste innovations and waste reduction, creating circular economy solutions for materials with no good end-of-life solutions. She’s proud to have created and supported solutions that diverted over 8 million lbs of waste from landfills in the Beauty, Cannabis, and Coffee industries. A graduate of the University of Cambridge’s Business Sustainability Management program, Jennifer also became a Master Recycler through SPEC in 2020 before founding Perk Eco, Canada’s Nation-Wide Cup Recycling Program. She is Executive Director at the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation, Canada’s oldest environmental non-profit, and a Board Director of Zero Waste BC. She believes that we need to systematically and rapidly implement the existing solutions that humanity has created to keep our shared planet below 1.5 degrees of warming. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys our local trails and rivers with family, teaching her 2 young sons about biodiversity and the natural world.
