Tessa is an Associate and Circular Economy Lead at Dillon Consulting with over a decade of experience catalyzing circular economy growth. She has worked with public and private organizations in Canada, the United States and The Netherlands across industries, including consumer goods, utilities, oil & gas, chemicals, automotive and the built environment. Her expertise includes circular growth strategy and roadmapping, change leadership, value chain opportunity and impact assessments, and catalyzing systemic innovation leveraging policy, technology and stakeholder alignment.
Prior to joining Dillon, Tessa oversaw the Ontario extended producer responsibility programs for Blue Box and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment at the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority. Before coming to Canada, Tessa developed and supported early initiatives in the US (NYC) and the Netherlands aiming at fostering innovative approaches to growing successful circular economy business cases. Tessa started her career working at Shell, tasked with increasing resource efficiency through operational excellence, R&D and capital projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Process and Energy Technology from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
